BrowZine is not a database or search tool but a medium for portability, access and presentation of your regular and occasional reading, in doing this it works fantastically well. Articles only go back to 2005 but generally for this sort of reading users are mostly looking for recent content so this seems reasonable.

Dependent upon the library subscription, full text of articles may not be available online on any device, until after an embargo period, which is indicated by BrowZine but nonetheless can be frustrating. However, when the library subscribes via an aggregator service such as EBSCO, the aesthetics are less pleasing. The presentation of the e-journal articles is good when there is direct access to the publisher. The layout on the bookshelves is intuitive and you can add labels ( Figure 1). The use of BrowZine enables easy review of e-journals within your interest with the app indicating when new content is available for each journal.
